Principal Director of Architecture, John Rix is a unique individual who was one of architecture's first to systemize the Architecture process with CADD. Mr. Rix is responsible for design and production of all projects of Architectronix, Inc.

John Rix is an architect with more than 20 years experience in commercial architecture. He has executed over 900 restaurant projects as well as extensive commercial office space and over 2,000,000 SF of tilt up construction. Some of his retail projects include; Super Crown Bookstores, Abercrombie and Finch, Williams & Sonoma, Nikon Camera Facility and Pier 1 Imports. John has also designed the award winning corporate headquarters for the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, Commercial Remodel Project of the year for the city of Chino and beautification awards from the city of San Juan Capistrano. Some of the most notable restaurant projects he has executed are; the Black Angus Restaurants, Chili’s, Marie Calendar’s, National Sports Grill, Opry Mills Food Court, Franklin Mills Food Court, Outback Steakhouses, Prego’s and Guaymas.

John Rix has achieved NCARB status and has reciprocal architectural licensing nationwide. His experience nationwide has been exceptionally successful due to his strong code and pre-planning skill that allows a clear and unobstructed path of execution to take place. With every considerable detail on file, we have solutions at our fingertips for the many nationwide projects in a variety of climates and conditions.

Prior to John’s vision of an architectural practice, he was an architectural and computer consultant to Denny’s Inc. in the capacity of integrating Computer Aided Design to the Food Service Engineering Departments, Architectural Services, and Construction Departments. John was instrumental in the CADD implementing remodel program for over 700 units within two years while consulting to Denny’s Inc.
